A positive outcome for the 14the edition of the Grand Prix Cycliste de Québec!

Québec City, September 12, 2025 – Québec City welcomed the 14thedition of the Grand Prix Cycliste de Québec. This international event brought together more than 150 of the world's best cyclists on a demanding and spectacular course, in the heart of Old Québec and the Plains of Abraham. Thousands of spectators were there to attend this unique competition in North America, which continues to position Quebec City on the international sports scene.

"What an extraordinary day for Quebec City," said Quebec City Mayor Bruno Marchand.

Congratulations to the winner, to all the competitors and to the people who made the fourteenth edition of the Grand Prix Cycliste possible, with a special thought for Félix Bouchard, who proudly represented our city among the champions. I particularly salute the collaboration of the organizers and the work and rigour of the hundreds of police officers and municipal employees who made it possible for the event to take place without incident. This is another great demonstration of our know-how in hosting major international events. »

The City has a very positive assessment of this 2025 edition, which ended in front of an enthusiastic crowd. The municipal teams worked in consultation with the organization to offer fans an event-free event. The success of this stage of the UCI World Tour international circuit once again confirms Québec City's ability to host major sporting events in a safe and festive setting.

The City of Québec thanks its partners, volunteers and citizens for their participation and collaboration. It also congratulates the winner of this 2025 edition, the champion Julian Alaphilippe, and already looks forward to seeing the population next year for a new meeting with the world's cycling elite.
