City of Toronto launches registration for fall recreation activities

Toronto, Canada - Registration for fall recreation activities begins on Monday, September 15, allowing Toronto residents to participate in various activities including arts and crafts, sports, yoga, fitness, swimming, skating and more. The City of Toronto offers approximately 16,300 registered courses and more than 153,000 spaces for activities.   

Residents can register for fall recreation activities at the following times: 

• Monday, September 15 at 10 a.m. – Registration opens for Older Adult programs 
• Tuesday, September 16 at 7 a.m. – Registration opens for Etobicoke and Toronto East York 
• Wednesday, September 17 at 7 a.m. – Registration opens for North York and Scarborough

How to register 

Residents can register online, by phone or in person. Last year, the City introduced a new online registration system for recreation and cultural activities, facility bookings and memberships. Anyone with an account on the previous system will have to create a new one to register for City recreation, cultural programs or spaces. For in-person registration support, the following community centre locations will be open from 7 a.m. to noon: 

Tuesday, September 16 

• Driftwood Community Centre, 4401 Jane St. 
• Masaryk Cowan Community Centre, 220 Cowan Ave. 
• Memorial Pool and Health Club, 44 Montgomery Rd. 
• Regent Park Community Centre, 402 Shuter St. 
• Wellesley Community Centre, 495 Sherbourne St. 
• York Recreation Centre, 115 Black Creek Dr. 

Wednesday, September 17 

• Centennial Recreation Centre, 1967 Ellesmere Rd. 
• Dennis R. Timbrell Resource Centre, 29 St. Dennis Dr. 
• Ethennonnhawahstihnen’ Community Centre, 100 Ethennonnhawahstihnen’ Ln. 
• Malvern Community Recreation Centre, 30 Sewells Rd. 

Lower-Cost Recreation Options
