Quebec Cabinet appointments

QUÉBEC CITY, Sept. 3, 2025 /CNW/ - The Cabinet made the following appointments at its meeting today.

Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing

Francis Côté is appointed, effective September 22, 2025, Assistant Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing. Mr. Côté was chief of staff to the Minister of the Environment, the Fight Against Climate Change, Wildlife and Parks.

Ministry of the Environment, the Fight Against Climate Change, Wildlife and Parks

Ms^. Marilou Tremblay is appointed, effective September 22, 2025, Assistant Deputy

Minister at the Ministère de l'Environnement, de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques, de la Faune et des Parcs. Ms^. Tremblay is the Director General of Environmental Monitoring for Montreal, Laval, Lanaudière, the Laurentians and Expertise at this Ministry.

Ministry of Health and Social Services

^Caroline Quach-Thanh is appointed, effective September 29, 2025, Assistant Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Health and Social Services and National Director of Public Health. Ms^. Quach-Thanh is a microbiologist-infectious disease specialist at the CHU Sainte-Justine and a full professor in the Department of Microbiology, Infectious Disease and Immunology and the Department of Pediatrics at the Université de Montréal.

Appalaches School Service Centre

Mr. Jean Roberge has been appointed Director General of the Centre de services scolaire des Appalaches.

Hautes-Laurentides School Service Centre

Mr. Alexandre Marion has been appointed Director General of the Centre de services scolaire des Hautes-Laurentides.

De La Jonquière School Service Centre

Sébastien Malenfant has been appointed Director General of the Centre de services scolaire De La Jonquière.

Portneuf School Service Centre

Ms^. Laurie L'Hérault has been appointed Executive Director of the Portneuf School Service Centre.

Val-des-Cerfs School Service Centre

Mr. Carl Morissette has been appointed Director General of the Val-des-Cerfs School Service Centre.

Commission des normes, de l'équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail

Daniel Cloutier and Charles Létourneau are appointed members of the Board of Directors of the Commission des normes, de l'équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail.

Cree-Québec Forestry Board

Mr. Eric Labelle and Mr. Thomas Faguy Bernier are appointed members of the Cree-Québec Forestry Board.

National Institute for Scientific Research

Ms^. Pascale Landry is reappointed as a member of the Board of Directors of the Institut national de la recherche scientifique.

Ms^. Annie Tremblay is appointed a member of the Board of Directors of this institute.
